So if you surf at Snapper Rocks or its surrounding areas there's a good chance there will be a photo of you on this site.

Our photos are printed on high quality paper and are available in 3 sizes:

I'm Brad Nielson. I've been surfing Snapper Rocks for close on 2 decades now. If you told me that when I was 10, I would have never believed you. I grew up in Brisbane, and for a surfer, that was like being in prison. By the time I was 12, My mum would let me jump on a bus, head up or down the coast, usually the Sunshine Coast for a surf. I can promise you I decked up a lot of miles to fulfil my surfing desires. Coach drivers were my biggest nightmare. They didn't like surfers very much then. It was rare that you got on a bus without a lecture of some kind.

Snapper Rocks became my local break when I moved down south. I can't say it's as much fun to surf as it was in the old days, with ridiculous crowds at times. But hey, its 2005. There's a lot more people surfing these days. And why not, surfing's unreal. Surfing is living!

I feel very fortune as a surfer, to witness the waves and the surfing that happen at Snapper. I've seen the most mind blowing waves, surfing, barrels and wipe-outs out there. Snapper is just an incredible break for action.

My love of surfing intensified my love of taking surfing photographs. What better place for surfing than at Snapper? Home to may of the world's best surfer: a huge pool of great local surfing talent.

So I aim to make SRCA a photographic diary of the most current Snapper Rocks surfing action. Obviously the best waves aren't always at Snapper so we'll also see what's happening at nearby beaches.

As well as taking photos of the many pro surfers here, I also love taking photos of any surfer. I imagine there'd be many surfers out there who don't have many photos of themselves surfing but would like to own some. Seeing pics of yourself surfing does not only give you a buzz, it also helps with your surfing as you can analyse your own moves.

Anyway the good news is that if you see a photo you like, just use the friendly shopping facility and in a very short time you'll be smiling. Of course I'll be smiling too.
